Château La Cardonne, a Cru Bourgeois Supérieur, enjoys a superb geological and geographical location on the northern edge of the Médoc peninsula, with vines planted on the beautiful Pyrenean gravel hilltops of the Blaignan, Ordonnac and Prignac areas. For a long time, this estate near Saint-Estèphe was under the benevolent wing of Château Lafite-Rothschild, which restructured it in the 1980s. Strengthened by exemplary work in the vineyards, the estate now produces vintages of incredible consistency.
